Happy March!
Spring is right around the corner, and that always stirs up the urge to refresh, not just our closets and counters, but the energy in our homes too.
Our homes should be a place where we feel safe and nurtured, not a source of hidden toxins or irritants. The truth is, some everyday products we bring inside actually work against that sense of safety. But with a few easy swaps, we can turn our homes into a space that truly supports our health, not threatens it.
This month’s featured class, The Oily Home Makeover, will walk you through every room of your home, showing you what to ditch, what to switch, and how to start fresh without overwhelm.

The Oily Home Makeover Plan

Instead of doing everything at once, take it one week, or even one month, at a time!
Here’s a simple 4-week plan inspired by the class:
Week 1: Living Room + Air.  Swap candles, plug-ins, and synthetic sprays for essential oil diffusers or DIY room sprays. Your air will thank you!
Week 2: Kitchen + Pantry.  Trade conventional cleaners for Thieves® products and try upgrading a few pantry staples. It’s amazing how even small changes can add up.
Week 3: Bedrooms + Bathrooms.  Replace fragrance-heavy detergents, lotions, and personal care products with plant-based options that still smell incredible.
Week 4: Laundry + Community.  Use this week to finish strong… clean out your laundry shelf, refresh your mindset, and connect with others making the same changes.

Aromatic Balance Technique for Liver and Gall Bladder
We will review the power of words and setting our intentions as we work through several modalities including vitaflex, reflexology, acupressure points, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Trauma Release.  Some of the emotions we may work through are anger, rage, justifying, chronic complaints, blame, bitterness, condemning and pride.  There are also physical symptoms with these organs you can review in class as well.  We use the book:  Ultimate Balance by LeAnne Deardeuff, D.C.  I will have a handout if you don’t own the book if you RSVP.  You may come in feeling heavy, but you will leave feeling much lighter!

Vitaflex Technique
VitaFlex (short for Vitality Through the Reflexes) is a light touch technique to bring balance back to energy pathways using reflexology points.  We will learn to correct leg length discrepancy (we will have a testimonial on this), clear lungs and sinuses, clear the colon and more.  VitaFlex enhances essential oil applications and essential oils enhance VitaFlex Technique.

Organ Balancing

Happy February! 
February tends to be all about showing love to others, cards, chocolate, little gestures of kindness. And while that’s beautiful, I want to offer a gentle reminder:
You deserve some of that care, too.

Aromatic Balance Technique for the Nervous System
The nervous system is the highway that information is carried on from brain to body and body to brain. We will learn how to turn off the Sympathetic Nervous System and stimulate the Parasympathetic Nervous System. Some emotions that may be affected are fear, exhaustion, shock, anger, excitement and joy. Supporting the nervous system may help with unsteadiness, muscle weakness or reflex loss, memory, dizziness, moodiness, inner tension on shakiness, and inability to handle stress. Some oils we will use include Valor, Frankincense, Valerian, Vetiver, and Lavender. Several other singles oils and blends will be available to customize your experience.

This year, instead of chasing a dramatic makeover or strict detox, I’m inviting you into something more sustainable:

Video Class:  “Quantum Physics, Essential Oils & the Mind-Body Connection – How Essential Oils Really Work” by Dr. David Stewart. 
This very interesting video is 1-hour but there will be some discussion afterward.  Video will start promptly at 2 pm.

The following classes are available anytime by request and are offered throughout the year.
ADVANCED VALOR BALANCE (An Hour of Valor) – 1 hour learning about the ingredients in Valor and substitutions if you find yourself out of Valor.  Ways to use the Valor Balance besides on the bottom of the feet to help other parts of the body.
VITAFLEX TECHNIQUE:   Using fingers and thumbs to help clear blockages in reflex pathways.  Learn to clear colon, clear lungs and sinuses, correct leg length discrepancy, relieve headache/tension, ear technique and more.  Class is taught as its own modality with discussion of how to use oils for enhancement.  
REFLEXOLOGY USING ESSENTIAL OILS:  An introductory class.  Basically, learning the “foot and hand maps” for reflexology and choosing appropriate oils to relieve symptoms.  Introduction to using Vitaflex to enhance the oil application.
REFLEXOLOGY II:  Using  Vitaflex Technique and reflexology.  Clearing colon, lungs, sinuses taught. Learning how to use oils as “drivers and enhancers”.    Lots of options for oils to use.
BALANCING BODY SYSTEMS using essential oils and reflexology points to energetically balance body systems/organs.  This class is about 2 hours.
HEALTHY MEDICINE CABINET:  How to substitute essential oils for over-the-counter remedies.   Optional:  how to make your own allergy homeopathic.
RAINDROP TECHNIQUE:   Hands on training doing a Raindrop on your volunteer or mine.  Application of 7 single essential oils and 2 blends to bottom of feet and on the spine.   Gentle Vitaflex Technique gives feeling of light massage.  Very relaxing to body, mind & spirit.  The oils address every body system.  Allow 2 hours for this training.
EMOTION CODE:   Learning how to “muscle test” for trapped emotions that may be causing problems physically and emotionally.  I vary the original class by using prayer to release those trapped emotions.
TRAUMA RELEASE:   A quick release of trauma using skills learned in Emotion Code but much more extensive.  These traumas are released in layers so several sessions may be required when performing on yourself or others.  It is recommended to take Emotion Code before this class.
EZ SOLUTIONS FOR DETOX!  Start detoxing your home, your body and your mind!
AROMATIC BALANCE TECHNIQUE:  We work on 2 organs during their time of year according to TCM.  We use reflexology, vitaflex, Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping), trauma release and more to affect emotions and physical issues.
