Happy August!
August has a certain feeling to it, doesn’t it? Something shifts. The days are still warm, but there’s that unmistakable pull of a new season coming, a new routine taking shape, a fresh start on the horizon.
Whether you’re a teacher heading back into the classroom, a student getting ready for a new school year, a college kid moving into a dorm for the first time, or someone who just spent the summer in slower gear and now gearing back up, August asks a lot of our brains.
New schedules. New demands. The mental load of transitioning from one season to the next. It’s a lot to carry, and most of us don’t give our brains nearly enough credit for what they do every single day.
Let’s change that this month. Because before we pile on the to-do lists and the early alarm clocks and the packed lunches, it’s worth pausing to ask: what are we actually doing to take care of the thing running the whole show?
That’s exactly what this month’s class is all about.
Featured Class: Seven Ways to Love Your Brain
The brain is the control center of everything. It drives your thoughts, your mood, your energy, your memory, and yes, your ability to survive the first week back at school or work after a summer off. And yet most of us give it almost no intentional support.
This class walks through seven practical, accessible ways to give your brain what it actually needs, whether you’re a student trying to stay focused during long study sessions, a teacher managing a full classroom, or just someone who wants to feel sharper and less foggy heading into fall.
It covers:
- How to fuel your brain with the right foods, and which ones make the biggest difference
- One of the most powerful things you can do for cognitive health that most people skip daily
- Simple ways to challenge your mind and keep it sharp day to day
- How essential oils connect directly to the brain’s emotional and memory centers through your sense of smell (and why it matters)
- Which Young Living supplements are worth adding to support focus, clarity, and overall brain function
- Why rest and stress management matter more than most people realize
- How honoring your mental and emotional health is just as important as the physical side
It’s one of those classes that makes you want to take notes, which is fitting, really.

Video Class – Energetic Brain Body Balancing
Video by the PT/Acupuncturist from last month’s video class. The Energetic Brain Body Balancing Acupressure protocol balances and harmonizes the major systems of the body (Autonomic nervous system and Vagus nerve). It enhances mental focus and clarity, youthful energy, and optimal health and wellness. Effective for: severe emotional shock/trauma, to adjust to time changes and to resolve healing blocks (history of many modalities without full symptom resolution). The full protocol takes 7-10 minutes, the mini protocol takes 3-5 minutes. Acupressure alone is effective. Results will be amplified 2-10-fold when recommended essential oils for each point are used. Please RSVP.
