Happy April!
Spring has a way of nudging us toward fresh starts. We open the windows, crave lighter foods, and feel that quiet pull to reset a bit. And while it’s tempting to focus on energy or immunity this time of year, there’s one system that quietly affects all of it, and that’s digestion.
When digestion is supported, so many other things begin to fall into place: energy improves, skin often looks clearer, moods feel more stable, and our bodies are simply better equipped to handle daily life. When it’s not? We may notice sluggishness, brain fog, skin flare-ups, or feeling “off” without knowing why.
That’s why April is all about getting back to the basics and giving our digestive system the support it truly needs.
Featured Class: Digestion 101
Our Digestion 101 class walks through how the digestive system actually works and why it’s so foundational to overall wellness. It explains how food is broken down, absorbed, and delivered to every cell in the body, and what happens when that process becomes sluggish or stressed.
In the class, you’ll learn:
  • How digestion impacts energy, skin, immunity, and even mood
  • The biggest habits and substances that can disrupt digestive balance
  • Simple, practical ways to support digestion daily without extremes
  • How stress, hydration, movement, and food choices all play a role
  • Where supplements and essential oils can gently support the process
If digestion has ever felt confusing, frustrating, or overwhelming, this class helps connect the dots in a very approachable way.

April Focus: A Gentle Spring Digestion Reset

Rather than a cleanse or overhaul, think of this month as a gentle reset... supporting flow, nourishment, and consistency.
Here’s a simple way to approach April:
  • Eat a little slower and chew your food well
  • Prioritize hydration throughout the day
  • Add more plants, fiber, and warm foods when possible
  • Reduce stress where you can (even small changes matter)
  • Support digestion with quality supplements and oils
Small, steady changes are often what the digestive system responds to best.

Simple Digestive Swaps

Digestion starts before the first bite. Calming the nervous system can make a big difference.

Aromatic Balance Technique for Pituitary and Thyroid
We will review the power of words and setting our intentions as we work through several modalities including Vitaflex, reflexology, acupressure points, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Trauma Release.  Some of the emotions we may work through are:   stuck in a box, inability to speak up for self, too much control, out of control, humiliation.  We will go over the physical issues associated with these organs in class as well.  We use the book:  “Ultimate Balance” by LeAnne Deardeuff, D.C.   I will have a handout if you don’t own the book if you RSVP, so please RSVP by 10 am the day of the class.
You may come in feeling heavy, but you will leave feeling much lighter!
Saturday, April 11th

Muscle Testing & Emotion Code
This class is a prerequisite for Trauma Release being offered May 30.  If you are unable to come and you want to do Trauma Release in May, plan to schedule a time with me to learn the information in this class.  I will be teaching the leaning method of muscle testing so you can muscle test for yourself (and others).  We will muscle test a few supplements/oils but will focus on the Emotion Code to identify trapped emotions that can cause emotional, mental and physical issues.
